Restless Earth and Human Civilization: Up late, can’t sleep, well neither does our earth. We will be looking at the earth as a whole (planet), seeing how everything is connected (Gaia hypothesis), how plate tectonics, climate patterns, biogeochemical cycles, and more have changed human civilization and the rest of life on earth and how we as humans have impacted the world around us. Thought and skill will be needed to complete activities to take back to your students to get them to see the big picture of a restless and ever-changing earth.
