General Information
- A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking for groups of 6 or more.
- A $25 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking for groups of 5 or less.
- Deposits will be applied to the final balance and must be paid to reserve your date.
- No-shows and day of cancellations will not receive a refund.
- All guided tours are 90 minutes. Virtual tours are 30-45 minutes.
- Due to limited space, only teachers and chaperones are allowed to attend.
- We respectfully ask for planning purposes that accurate numbers are provided a week prior to the scheduled tour.
- Deposits must be paid in order to book and secure your guided tour date. Tours are not scheduled without a paid deposit.
Guided School Tours (K-12th grade)
Learn about the history of aviation and explore the past, present, and future as your group tours the award-winning exhibits and aircraft on display at the Museum of Aviation. Plus, get an exclusive interactive tour inside our C-130 fuselage.
- Schedule: School Tours last approximately 1.5 hours and will include two or more buildings. Must be scheduled in advance. Groups larger than 75 participants or more will need to allow for more time for their School Tour.
- Group Size: Minimum of 10 participants for School Tours.
- Price: $7.00 per participant (ages 5 and up).
- C-130 Experience: Participants will have exclusive inside access to a C-130 “Hercules” fuselage.
- Custom Tour: To correlate the School Tour specifically to your classroom curriculum, please advise when scheduling. Standards such as SSH6 (a)(b)(d)(e) can be met upon request.

Guided Private & Family Tours
Private Tours at the Museum of Aviation explore any of our four esteemed hangars. Private Tours include our exclusive C-130 Experience.
- Schedule: Private Tours last approximately 1.5-2 hours and will include two or more buildings. Please schedule Private Tours in advance.
- Group Size: Minimum of 5 participants for Private Tours.
- Price: $10.00 per participant (ages 5 and up)/$50.00 minimum.
- C-130 Experience: Participants will have exclusive inside access to a C-130 “Hercules” fuselage.

WWII Guided Tour & Geronimo’s Interactive Classroom (School or Private Tour)
Learn about America’s involvement in World War II throughout the Scott Hangar. This tour includes the Tuskegee Airmen Exhibit, women’s role in the war, paratroopers, and the aircraft that helped support and win the war. Tours also include Geronimo’s Interactive classroom where participants will view authentic World War II artifacts and experience hands-on learning.
To correlate this World War II Guided Tour specifically to your classroom curriculum, especially 5th grade standards, please advise when scheduling. Standards that can be met are SS5H6 and SS5H8.
- Schedule: World War II Guided Tours last approximately 1.5 hours and will include Geronimo’s Interactive classroom. Must be scheduled in advance. Groups larger than 75 participants or more will need to allow for more time for their School Tour.
- Group Size: Minimum of 10 participants for World War II Guided Tours.
- Price: $7.00 per participant (ages 5 and up).
- C-130 Experience: Participants in World War II Guided tours may add on exclusive inside access to a C-130 “Hercules” fuselage for $15 per group (25 per group at a time).

US Airpower: World War II – Present (School or Private Tour)
Learn significant events in U.S. aviation history and understand technology developments driven by wartime and peacetime periods. Explore the role of Georgia in World War II as well as the impact of the War in Middle Georgia and beyond.
- Schedule: This tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and can be tailored to 7th-12th Grades as well as J/ROTC Cadets. Must be scheduled in advance. Groups larger than 75 participants or more will need to allow for more time for their Airpower Guided Tour.
- Group Size: Minimum of 10 participants for Airpower Guided Tours.
- Price: $7.00 per participant (ages 5 and up).
- C-130 Experience: Participants in World War II Guided tours may add on exclusive inside access to a C-130 “Hercules” fuselage for $15 per group (25 per group at a time).

Virtual Tours at the Museum of Aviation (Live or Recorded)
Virtual Tours with the Museum of Aviation feature World War II and Vietnam eras and may be tailored to grade standards. Participants may choose for their Virtual Tours to be live or recorded.
- Live Virtual Tours: Please choose a live virtual tour from either the World War II or Vietnam era. Tours last approximately 45 minutes.
- Booking Fee: $75.00 per Live Virtual Tour
- Recorded Virtual Tours: This tour includes two recorded Virtual Tours that are focused on World War II. Each recording is approximately 30 minutes in duration (Standards based). Upon booking, a 72-hour code will be provided to access to your virtual recordings.
- Booking Fee: $50.00 Includes a teacher guide and link to two recorded virtual tours.

Outreach: On-the-Go with Geronimo (4-8th grade)
The Museum of Aviation proudly brings On-the-Go with Geronimo Outreach presentations to your school (within a 50 mile radius of the Museum of Aviation). Learn about America’s involvement in World War II through this On-the-Go with Geronimo Outreach where participants will have an opportunity to view real World War II artifacts and experience hands-on learning in your classroom.
- Outreach Experience: Presentations are 30 minutes in duration and can correlate to your classroom curriculum, especially 5th grade standards, please advise when scheduling. Standards that can be met are SS5H6 and SS5H8.
- Booking Fee: $75.00 (non-refundable) includes one presentation. Additional presentations are $75.00 each. All presentations include classroom resources.
