Guided tours include a visit to the museum’s large hangars with our knowledgeable volunteer guides who are well-versed in the historical aspects of the Air Force — all the way back through World War II. Self-guided tours leave the tour itinerary in the hands of the visitor. Please bear in mind that the museum is large and covers more than 50 acres.
All visitors are urged to begin at the Eagle Building. Museum of Aviation volunteers staff the front desk throughout the day. We do ask that coordinators with self-guided tours sign in at the front desk. Guided tours are not required to do so; they are already registered and will meet with their respective tour guides.
Typically from 90 minutes to two hours.
Self-guided tours are free. Guided private tours are $10 per person. School tours vary in price depending on group size and age, with adults costing $7 per person.
We ask for a minimum of two weeks, please. This is due to the limited number of volunteer tour guides available at the museum. The museum only has enough volunteer tour guides to cover scheduled guided tours.
