The Museum of Aviation Foundation will be holding our 4th Annual Winter Wonderfest the weekend of Saturday, January 28, 2017 and Sunday, January 29, 2017.  Doors open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. both days.  We are bringing on a Winter Wonderfest BLIZZARD of events that is sure to make even Olaf’s nose cold!

We are very excited to bring this event to the Middle Georgia community for a fourth year!  Over the last three years, our Winter Wonderfest has grown into a huge success and last years’ attendance exceeded even our expectations with over 10,000 people in attendance over the weekend. Because of the phenomenal turn out last year, we have doubled our activities for 2017!!!  Our Winter Wonderfest is a weekend of great fun for all ages including snow tubing, falling snow and and snow play areas.

Tickets and Armbands

Tickets may be purchased online or at the door and ticket sales at the door will end at 3:30 p.m. each day to accommodate every purchaser.

  • Armband: $12 for ages 6 and under; $15 for ages 7 and up (armbands needed for all riders)
  • Armband sales end at 3:30pm Saturday and Sunday
  • Tickets for the Attic are available at $7 per person

This year, armbands will include unlimited access to our most popular attractions, two 65 foot snow tubing slides, as well as a smaller snow tube slide for younger children, rock wall climbing, a guided hay ride around the museum, horse rides, a petting zoo, numerous bounce houses, mechanical bull, and a huge play area of real snow!  The armbands for children over 7 will also include stunt jumpz and a 30 foot tall zip line.  Parents do not have to purchase armbands unless they are planning to ride separately.

The 2017 Winter Wonderfest will also include a vendor/craft show, a food truck festival, meet and greet with many popular characters including the “Frozen” cast, Peppa Pig, and Super Heroes!  There will also be face painting and an area with special vehicle exhibit… Police Department, Firetruck, Chick-fil-a and Menchi’s just to name a few!
