Virtual Field Trips are simple, fun, and interactive!
Live Virtual field trips are easy to do and can be set up by us, using our video conferencing software, or by you. If your school or organization already has programs set up to do live conferencing, it’s as easy as inviting us to join your meeting or session!
Live Virtual Field Trips Are Offered for Pre K – Adults
The following information applies to all Virtual Field Trips, unless otherwise stated.
- Duration is 30 – 45 minutes
- Cost is $75 up to 100 participants, $100 for over 100 participants
- Scheduled on Tuesdays of each month
- Teachers will be supported by additional classroom resources for some options
- Resources will be sent to the school once payment is processed
- Reliable internet connection required, using schools preferred online platform, or Google Meets

Wonder Wings (Pre K)
During Wonder Wings virtual field trips students will learn about “Things that Fly”
• Story Time focusing on the parts of the plane
• Tour of a Museum hangar

ACE Plus Live (K - 5th Grades)
The ACE Plus virtual field trips feature a live STEM demonstration, followed by a tour of a Museum hangar.
For your STEM demonstration, please choose one of the following:
• Force and Motion: Focusing on Flight
• States of Matter: Chemical Reaction Experiment
• Weather: Tornadoes, Creating a Vortex

Guided Tour (K - Adults)
Explore history and learn about the aircraft in one of the four buildings at the Museum during guided tour virtual field trips.
If you have a specific request, please advise when scheduling and we will accommodate if possible.

On the WWII Home Front (4th - 12th Grades)
Discover “Rosie the Riveter” in character and how the roles of women changed in their effort to support the war during this virtual field trip.
View real artifacts as you learn the roles of the family during WWII. Learn about rationing and what measures Mom and the family had to take to survive the war.

WWII Guided Tour Featuring the Tuskegee Airmen Exhibit (5th Grades)
This is a specialized tour of the WWII Hangar, including the Tuskegee Airmen.
The tour is aligned with the Georgia Performance Standards for 5th grade.

Mission Quest (6th - 12th Grades)
Join us for a Live Lesson, followed by a tour of a Museum hangar, if time permits.
For your lesson, please choose one of the following curriculum options:
- Aerospace – Forces of Flight/Bernoulli’s Principles. Students will learn about the forces of flight and how the shape of an aircraft or a wing affects its movement and ability.
- Careers in Aviation – Students will learn about the different careers offered in the aviation field as well as education requirements and average salary ranges.
- Astronomy – Students will be presented with lessons about astronomy, the stars, constellations, and more.
- Living in Space – 6th – 8th Grades This Life Sciences program introduces students to living and working in space with a NASA hands-on activity.

Artifacts, Collections, and Curation (College Students)
This live virtual field trip takes adults and college students on a behind the scenes trip through our collections and curation process. Students studying for museum and curator degrees will get a live look at how the Museum of Aviation chooses, acquires, stores, and exhibits its artifacts and aircraft. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and, if time permits, will receive a tour of an area of the museum.
