They will be on site helping to commemorate the anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy, France on June 6, 1944. They will have a variety of displays and living historians present to share about the men and women that helped make the invasion a success. They will be showcasing weapons, uniforms, and equipment utilized during the invasion and throughout WWII.
The B-17G Flying Fortress will available for viewing in the the Scott Hangar – Building 2. You won’t want to miss seeing this majestic plane which has now been restored to her former glory. The restoration crew will be here to answer questions.
