 orgia World War II Heritage Trail will join museums and historic sites acr
 oss the state for Super Museum Sunday on Sunday\, Feb. 8\, from noon to 4 
 p.m.\, offering free public access and educational experiences as part of 
 Georgia’s annual statewide celebration of history and culture. Super Mus
 eum Sunday also kicks off the Georgia WWII Heritage Trail’s participatio
 n in Georgia’s America 250 commemoration\, marking the beginning of a mu
 lti-year effort to highlight the state’s World War II legacy as part of 
 the nation’s 250th anniversary.\n\nSuper Museum Sunday is organized as p
 art of the Georgia History Festival and supported by the Georgia Departmen
 t of Economic Development\, with more than 100 museums\, historic sites\, 
 and cultural institutions participating statewide. The Georgia WWII Herita
 ge Trail’s involvement highlights the role of coordinated museum collabo
 ration in preserving and interpreting Georgia’s World War II history whi
 le connecting local stories to a broader national narrative.\n\n“The Geo
 rgia WWII Heritage Trail exists to make our state’s World War II story m
 ore visible\, accessible\, and connected\,” said Ed Coleman\, chair of t
 he Georgia WWII Heritage Trail. “Super Museum Sunday exemplifies how mus
 eums and historic sites can work together to welcome the public\, strength
 en historical understanding\, and demonstrate the collective impact of Geo
 rgia’s museum community.”\n\nDuring Super Museum Sunday\, visitors wil
 l experience the diverse ways Georgia WWII Heritage Trail partners bring h
 istory to life—from aviation museums and restored aircraft hangars to im
 mersive exhibits interpreting military training\, industrial production\, 
 and life on the World War II home front. Through hands-on displays\, exper
 t interpretation\, and stories rooted in local communities\, Trail sites d
 emonstrate how Georgia’s World War II history is preserved\, shared\, an
