Join us as we celebrate freedom!
“Star Spangled Concert” celebrates America through music, featuring the patriotic songs our country has come to love – America the Beautiful, Battle Hymn of the Republic, God Bless America, Stars and Stripes Forever, and many more. With plenty of toe-tapping goodness, this program is guaranteed to bolster the patriotic fervor!
Under the direction of conductor C. Lloyd McDonald, the Wellston Winds is a community wind ensemble made of band directors, music teachers, military bandsmen, and other local musicians seeking to bring great instrumental music to Middle Georgia. The group performs concerts throughout the year in our community, including patriotic and Christmas programs at the Museum of Aviation. We hope you will join us for this musical celebration of America.
