NASA Optics & the Path to Totality: Solar Eclipse 2017 Professional Development Workshop
TARGETED GRADE LEVEL: PRE K – 12th EDUCATORS
This workshop will focus on the solar eclipse 2017, happening in August. Educators will receive resources, activities, and more that can be utilized in the classroom before, during, and after the eclipse.
GA’s NASA Regional Educator Resource Center (RERC) provides hands-on, professional development workshops for classroom teachers, pre-service teachers, informal educators, scout leaders, and home school groups. Topics are related to STEM disciplines and infuse NASA education resources into classroom curricula. During each workshop, educators receive NASA materials and resources, and when available, stipends for participation.
