About the 2026 Run for Aviation
The 30th Annual Museum of Aviation Foundation RUN FOR AVIATION Marathon, Half-Marathon, 5K Run/Walk, and Para Athletes Race will take place at the Museum of Aviation on January 31, 2026. All races are run on Robins Air Force Base, and the marathon course is USA Track & Field certified, making it a Boston Marathon qualifier.
Registration
Registration for in person events will end on Tuesday, January 13th at 11:59 PM. There will be no walk- up registration on Friday January 30th or Saturday, January 31st.
Start Schedule
- 7:50 AM MARATHON HAND CYCLES and PARA ATHLETES
- 8:00 AM MARATHON (6 HOUR CUTOFF)
- 8:15 AM HALF MARATHON
- 8:30 AM 5K
Age Categories
10 & Under (5K only) | 11-14 | 15-19 | 20-24 | 25-29 | 30-34
35-39 | 40-44 | 45-49 | 50-54 | 55-59 | 60-64 | 65-69 | 70-74 | 75-79 | 80+
Awards
For top three male and female overall finishers in each race.
For top three male and female masters in each race.
For top active duty military male and female in marathon only.
For top three male and female in each race.
Participation Medals | Finisher
For in person or virtual Marathon and Half Marathon participants only.
Shirts
All participants receive a shirt. Those who register by December 31st will receive their shirt on race day. Runners registered after this date are not guaranteed a shirt.
Virtual Participants
A virtual option will be offered for those who want to participate in the 30th annual event but not able to attend the in-person event. Virtual participants will receive a T-shirt and race packet. Virtual packets can be picked up on Friday, January 30th between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. at the Museum Century of Flight Hangar. If you wish to have your race packets mailed to you, there will be a postage fee required at the time you register for the race. Race packets will be mailed within two weeks after the race on Saturday, January 31st.
Please do not opt out of receiving emails from this race because important information will be sent out prior to the start of the event. Please make sure your address is current in your RunSignUp account.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is located at Museum of Aviation Century of Flight Hangar. All Participants can pick up packets on Friday, January 30, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. or on race day Saturday, January 31, from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. A mail option is available for virtual participants. Shipping fee applies. $10.00 within continental US and $30 outside continental US.

Additional Information
Last four digits of Social Security number are required at registration as required by US Air Force in order to access Warner Robins Air Force Base.
Due to Base security regulations, everyone must present an official picture ID during registration/packet pickup. Picture ID must remain on your person at all times during the race.
