About the 2023 Marathon…
The 27th Annual Museum of Aviation Foundation Marathon, Half-Marathon, 5K Run/Walk, and Para Athletes Race will be held at the Museum of Aviation on Saturday, January 14, 2023. The races will be run on Robins Air Force Base next to the Museum of Aviation and are part of the 2023 Run & See Georgia Grand Prix Series. The marathon course is USA Track and Field certified (Boston Marathon qualifier). Proceeds from the growing annual event benefit the Museum of Aviation, one of the largest education-focused aviation museums in the country.
This is a great way to start the new year with a run on a brisk winter morning. Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers in each race, the overall top three male and female masters in each race, the top active duty military male and female in the marathon and the top three finishers in age categories. All participants receive a colorful shirt. Those who register by December 30th will receive their shirt on race day. Runners registered after this date are not guaranteed a shirt. All Runners will receive a finisher’s medal.
We will also be offering a virtual option for those who want to participate in the 27th annual event but not able to attend the in-person event. All participants will receive a t-shirt, medal and race packet. Shirts, medals and packets can be picked up January 13th between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. at the Museum or a mail option is available. Shipping fee applies. $8.00 within continental US and $25 outside continental US. Please do not opt out of receiving emails from this race because important information will be sent out prior to the start of the event. Please make sure your address is current in your RunSignUp account.
Below are two ways to register, one is a form and the other is online. Registration for in person events will end on Thursday, January 12th at noon. There will be no same day registration.

Packet Pick Up
Packet Pick will be held at the Museum of Aviation Hangar Century of Flight Hangar(Building #2)
Last four digits of Social Security number are required at registration as required by US Air Force in order to access Warner Robins Air Force Base.
Due to Base security regulations, everyone must present an official picture ID during registration/packet pickup.
“By providing information required for sign up, you acknowledge and agree to the use of your information for a Criminal Background Check to verify your identity, in accordance with United States Air Force Instruction 31-118, Installation Access and Control, and Robins Air Force Base Instruction 31-101, Installation Defense Plan.”
ONLY Active Duty, Retired Military, Civilian DOD and Virtual Runners can pick up packets on Friday, January 13, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
All other participants may pick up race packet on Saturday, January 14, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
