

Family Aviation Day 2025

We will have open cockpits and aircraft to explore, WWII re-enactors to engage with, exciting STEM activities, pilots and guides telling their own fascinating stories tied with the aircraft, and much more! We can’t wait to welcome you!

This year, we are excited to announce that handicap transport will be provided by Happy Hour Service Center for the duration of the event. Thank you Happy Hour Service Center!

*Retired Maj. Gen. Rick Goddard, who commanded the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center at Robins Air Force Base and flew 180 combat missions in the F-100, is participating in Family Aviation Day! Overview

Visitor Guidelines
We want to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit to the Museum of Aviation. Please keep the following in mind to ensure the safety of yourself and others who are visiting:
- Bags Subject to Check
- No Unsupervised Children or Youth Groups – All children and youth groups must be accompanied by supervising adults.
- Groups must check in at the Eagle Desk. If the group is unscheduled the Volunteer will have the group leader read and sign the Self-Guided Field Trip form.
- No Climbing Onto or Entering Unauthorized Aircraft or Vehicles.
- No Bicycles, Skate Boards, Skates, Roller Blades or Roller Shoes, Running, Horseplay, or Loud Behavior.
- No Crossing of Roped or Barricaded Areas.
- No Pets – Seeing eye and other special needs animals are permitted.
- No Smoking Inside any Building, Aircraft or Exhibit.
- No Intoxicated Persons or Illegal Drug Use Permitted.
- Shoes, Shirts and other Appropriate Attire Must Be Worn.
- No Glass Containers
- No Drones
- No Canopies or Tents
- No Coolers
- No Large Bags
