CGTC Presents: Using AI Assistants in the Workplace

This hands-on course equips students with practical skills for using Generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT and other Large Language Models) to analyze reports, draft reports and emails, troubleshoot equipment issues, and improve decision-making. Learn how to utilize AI Assistants to streamline your work.

Participants learn how to:

  1. Safely and effectively use AI tools in daily tasks
  2. Choose the right Large Language Model (LLM) for their specific needs
  3. Build simple rule-based and AI-enhanced expert systems
  4. Identify AI-generated text, images, and deepfakes in reports, emails, and documentation

This course is developed in collaboration with Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC), providing students with exposure to real-world, workforce-level technical skills in areas such as automation and applied technology.

Important Information: Students are required to bring their own sack lunch. A designated space will be provided for eating. Please do not bring food or drinks inside of the lab. Breaks will be provided periodically for restrooms and drinks.
