Join Georgia Public Broadcasting and the Museum of Aviation in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. AMERICAN EXPERIENCE: Chasing the Moon takes an immense journey reimagining the race to the moon and reliving the journey that defined a generation. The documentary recasts the Space Age as a captivating stew of scientific innovation, political calculation, and visionary impulses all while utilizing previously overlooked and lost archival material.
Admission to the Museum of Aviation is free, and the screening will take place in the Scott Auditorium in the Eagle Building. Guests are encouraged to explore the extensive exhibits before and after the film screening.
