As part of the National STEM Academy’s continuing effort to serve more students with exciting and diverse educational opportunities, we are making a change for 2020. Young Astronauts’ Day will not be held this Spring and will instead become a biennial event. In its place every other year, we will host a different type of event dedicated to STEM learning and fun!
For 2020, the National STEM Academy is proud to announce our RoboCode STEM Day scheduled for September. RoboCode STEM Day is an education event especially designed to spark interest and enthusiasm in Robotics and Coding.
Young Astronauts’ Day will return in Spring of 2021. We hope you will plan to be a part of our next Young Astronauts’ Day in 2021.
Young Astronauts’ Day is a full day of hands-on, STEM workshops for 1st-6th grade students. Students choose a “Flight” to travel based on their appropriate grade level and participate in three workshops throughout that “Flight”. All students will receive a Museum of Aviation t-shirt and lunch.
Young Astronauts’ Day will now be held every two years. 2021 information will be available January 1st, 2021!
