ALTITUDES VOLUNTEER & INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The National STEM Academy is an interesting, educational and exciting environment in which to volunteer. Our Altitudes Volunteer & Internship Program falls under the Educator Resource Center. We offer volunteer opportunities for high school students (11th-12th grades), college students and adults. Internship opportunities for college students in Education and Marketing are also available.
JUNIOR VOLUNTEERS:
The Educator Resource Center offers Junior Volunteer opportunities for high school (11th and 12th grades) and college students. Summer Junior Volunteers will be assigned to assist camp instructors with lower grade summer camps, help with classroom set-up and clean-up, assist younger students with hands-on STEM activities, and other duties as assigned.
COLLEGE INTERNS:
The Educator Resource Center offers unpaid internships for college students in Education and Marketing. Interns will design and publish weekly summer camp newsletters, take photographs and create social media posts and other duties as assigned. Additionally, interns will assist instructors with planning and camp activities, and other duties as assigned.
ADULT VOLUNTEERS:
The Educator Resource Center and National STEM Academy welcome adult volunteers to assist with a variety of educational opportunities.
