WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — The Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins has been an active part of the community since 1984, always aiming to share Air Force history with all Georgians.

Officials say the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame, housed at the Museum of Aviation, is part of what makes this facility unique.

That — and tons of aviation artifacts specific to the state of Georgia.

“It’s an absolute treasure. It’s a free museum, open 361 days a year. We are only closed four days out of the year,” says Darlene McLendon, the President and CEO of the Museum of Aviation Foundation.
