Engage from afar with our outreach programs!

Our Virtual and ‘On the Go’ Outreach programs are interactive, interesting and inspiring! Our staff and programs come directly to you to provide one of three ‘On the Go’ Program options: Science, Astronomy or WWII. Please review the various options below to learn more and choose the ‘On the Go’ Program that works best for you. Programs are offered to schools within 50 miles of the Museum of Aviation and are designed for Pre K – 12th Grade.

'On the Go': Zoom, Soar, and Explore Outreach (PreK-1st Grade)

'On the Go': Zoom, Soar, and Explore Outreach

  • This program is a transportation adventure that delivers a dynamic, interactive learning experience straight to your school for PRE-K through 1st Grade that engages students with a story, hands-on activities, launch stomp rockers, foam gliders, and a complimentary gift for the teacher.
  • The program supports the following Science Georgia Standards of Excellence (SKP2 and S1P1) but can be booked for any grade level.
  • The cost of this show is $75 per 45-minute session (MAXIMUM 3 Sessions per day)
  • Due to generous grant funding available at this time, Outreach Program costs are waived for Public Schools for the 2024-2025 School Year.

'On the Go' Science Show: Is it Magic or is it Science?

  • This program explores the states of matter, following the scientific method of experimentation, and observation science skills during the classroom day or after school.
  • The program supports the following Science Georgia Standards of Excellence (S2P1, S4P3, S5P1) but can be booked for any grade level.
  • The cost of this show is $75 per 45-minute session (MAXIMUM 3 Sessions per day)
  • Due to generous grant funding available at this time, Outreach Program costs are waived for Public Schools for the 2024-2025 School Year.

'On the Go' Astronomy: Bring the STARLAB Planetarium to YOU (All Grades & Groups)

'On the Go' Astronomy: Bring the STARLAB Planetarium to You

  • This program brings the STARLAB Planetarium to your school or location during or after school (within 50 miles of the Museum of Aviation)
  • The program supports the following Science Georgia Standards of Excellence (SKE1, S2E2, S4E2, S6E1, SAST1, SAST2 ) but can be booked for any grade level
  • Program will last approximately 30-45 minutes per session/rotation with approximately 15-20 participants per session/rotation
  • The cost is $5 per participant with a minimum of 20 participants/Minimum fee $250 for an after school-hour program
  • The School/Organization must provide 1–2 assistants to help set up & take down the STARLAB.  A large room is needed for set-up with at least 25′ x 25′ of floor space and a 15′ tall ceiling, a lunchroom or gym is the best setting
