B-17G Bomber

We have repaired and mounted the plexiglas nose that came with the airplane.

We installed the flap on the main wing of the airplane.

We installed the crew hatch, and more radios in the radio operators compartment.

We built this rack by hand. It will hold a radio. And we are working the O2 regulators—running new tubing, regulators, and bottles.

The Museum of Aviation completed a huge milestone in the restoration process of our B-17G! The forward and aft fuselage sections have finally been joined together!

Here is a before and after picture of the engine mount. Diecron Inc in Macon sand blasted the frame and gave it a Silver powder coating pro bono.
