WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Grab your running shoes, because the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins is hosting a marathon, half marathon, and 5K.

Proceeds will go to the Museum of Aviation, which is one of the nation’s largest aviation museums. The museum will also be partnering with Paralyzed Veterans of America, who will be sending their racing team to participate.

Darlene McLendon, President of the Museum of Aviation Foundation, says the event is made to be inclusive of everyone.

“And we have a hand cycle division for any athlete that’s challenged and we have a lot of paralyzed veterans that participate in that portion of our event. We have a 5K, a half marathon, and then the full marathon,” she says.

The races will be held on Saturday, January 18 on Heritage Blvd. in Warner Robins.
