Inaugural Robins Mission Partner Challenge

Robins Mission Partner Challenge

New this year! The men and women serving our great nation and its allies here at Robins AFB are crucial to our national security and community.  We all have an extremely important role in remembering our past but also an equally important role in preparing our children and community for the future.  Adding this challenge to our event gives us the opportunity to promote comradery amongst the many Mission Partners located at Robins AFB, our Central Georgia Community and Industry all working together to promote STEM education to develop our workforce of the future and our Leaders of Tomorrow.  We thank you greatly for your service!  Our plan is to make this an annual event with a traveling trophy and bragging rights awarded each year.  We hope you’ll join us.

We are so very grateful for your continued support of our award-winning National STEM Academy program.  To learn more about the National STEM Academy and the wonderful programs it provides, click here.

This legacy annual golf tournament is the largest golf outing in middle Georgia and consists of two separate rounds played over two days.  It is a four man scramble with a bogey max per hole. It is held at Pine Oaks Golf Course on Robins Air Force Base, GA.  This championship layout features gently rolling fairways and a distinct variety of holes that wind through old southern oaks and majestic pines.  Strategically placed bunkers around the greens provide a great challenge for even the sharpest of the short game!

  • Separate prizes awarded for each round.
  • Foursomes compete in a scramble with a Bogey Max Per Hole.
  • Players receive commemorative golf swag and golf ball.
  • Breakfast or lunch buffet.
  • 19th Hole Reception plus a guest.

Line-up Sept 21

This year the fun starts Thursday the 21st of September at Pine Oaks Golf Course on Robins AFB.   The luncheon buffet begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon.  And if that isn’t enough… come and join in the festivities at the annual “19th Hole Reception” at 5:30 p.m. in the Century of Flight Hangar at the Museum of Aviation.  The shrimp are off the chain!

Line-up Sept 22

The next morning?  Friday the 22nd starts at 6:30 a.m. with a breakfast buffet at Pine Oaks Golf Course.  There will be an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.  After a brisk round of golf there will be a luncheon buffet at noon which ends at 2:00 p.m.  We hope to see all our friends and supporters at this special two day event.

Sponsorship

The Museum of Aviation relies on the generosity and support of gracious sponsors.  Your gift prepares the next generation by helping the Museum educate and inspire our visitors, recruit the future workforce and honors those who have contributed to Air Force history.  Please consider being a champion by sponsoring the Georgia Invitational Golf Tournament.

The Museum of Aviation Education Center operates Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and History-focused education programs, in person field trips, and virtual field trips for learners ages 4 to adult under five major programs.  Rigorous, goal setting experiences challenge students to solve problems.  Programs are aligned to state and national education standards.  Please visit our National STEM Academy here.
